ABOUT THE PROJECT

I collaborated with a Cleveland-based rapper known as Stalin Mackamillion. He commissioned me to create custom cover arts for two of his songs featuring famous names such as, Gucci Mane and Benny the Butcher; "No ties" and "Sirens". For the song "No Ties", the creative brief focused on where the two rappers are from. The Cleveland and Atlanta skyline were in the background while their illustrated figures stood in the foreground. The entire piece was inspired by 90s black street art aesthetic, and I used hand lettering to make the title look like painted graffiti. 

"Sirens" is heavily influenced by the cover of GTA games. Benny the Butcher is from Buffalo NY, so that is shown in the art as well as the Cleveland sign in representation for Stalin. Both of these songs can be found on Spotify.
